GSM Booster is a pin-compatible replacement for the Telit GM862-QUAD module; retaining the same form factor as this popular, yet obsolete module. GSM Booster contains Telit's new GL865-QUAD GSM module, MMCX GSM antenna connector, SIM card holder and CSTP 50 pin vertical SMD molex connector (male) for further connection. It can be used on existing MikroElektronika development boards designed for the GM862. There are four zero-ohm SMD jumpers used to select whether Handsfree (HF) or Handset (MT) audio pins are used (soldered in the HF position by default). |

The microSD card is a mass storage memory array with a fast SPI interface. It is especially suitable for fast datalogging, or storing large amounts of data such as music and images.
Please note that SDHC cards are formatted as FAT32. They can however be formatted to FAT16 using the steps in this tutorial. We will also be happy to format the cards to FAT16 for you on request. |
